Every year and for one week, a huge “wave of books” rises on Pireos Street. It is the bookwave, the annual, big action of Library4all, which is supported by the Benaki Museum. The bookwave collects books for children through book drives held by schools in Attica, mainly private and corporate. Our goal is to cover in a short period of time as many schools as possible, which face significant shortages of books. This year’s will take place on January 20.
