Metaixmio Publications, wishing to contribute to the important initiative of Library4all, will offer all of its new children’s book publications for three whole years, starting this year. Specifically, 20 copies of each new book for preschoolers and 10 copies of each new book for elementary school children will be offered in support of our efforts.
Library4all has donated more than 1,030,000 books to 8,925 schools in Greece and countries where Greeks live, to 9 pediatric hospitals, to 340 organizations, social services and institutions, 440 facilities hosting refugee children, 25 municipal libraries, and cultural associations. It is worth noting that it has been nominated three times for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award by the Greek Section of the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) – Greek Children’s Book Circle.
As they characteristically state: “We believe that a love of reading is cultivated from an early age, which is why we proudly support such a commendable effort, which gives every child a precious gift for life!”
