Some time ago, we received a request for books from Ascension Greek School in Fairview, New Jersey. On Friday, April 11, Library4all visited this Greek community school and delivered the books to the children and their teachers in an atmosphere of excitement and joy. The school’s principal, Demosthenes Triantafyllou, spoke to the children about the value of giving and the importance of contact with books and the Greek language. This moving visit marked the beginning of a beautiful collaboration through books, language, and our shared heritage. Without the teachers and people of the school, the Greek community would not be the same.
