The two-day international conference, which was hosted in the city of Piraeus, specifically at the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus, the Municipal Art Gallery, and the Pedagogiki-Birds Educational Institutions, concluded successfully on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The conference brought together internationally renowned specialized academics, Greek university professors, researchers, education executives, representatives of civil society, and others.
A beautiful idea came to life! Our mobile lending library is now bringing stories and smiles, to children hospitalized at the Paidon Children’s Hospital. Thanks to the amazing volunteers of the Greek America Foundation, and the thoughtful book curation by Eleni Geroulanou and Library4all young patients now have access to a world of imagination.
Every year and for one week, a huge “wave of books” rises on Pireos Street. It is the bookwave, the annual, big action of Library4all, which is supported by the Benaki Museum.
