We would like to thank the Greek schools for their participation, along with schools from all over the world, in the vision of Colombian poet Gloria Posada by photographing the sky with their children on March 20, 2025 at 11:00, the day and time of the spring equinox.
225 “Letters to the Sky” were collected and the children’s comments were touching. Here are some of them:
– The sky is like a big hug that fits us all. – When we all look at the same sky, we feel less alone. – The sky was blue with a few clouds, as if it knew we had an appointment. – If I could go up there, I would leave a message for all the people of Earth: to love each other. – The sky is the same for everyone. – How we see it is different for each person. – The sky is full of imagination. – With sun or clouds, we always have summer in our hearts.
Their participation gave voice to the children and helped weave a global poem of hope and unity.
We are grateful for the time and love they dedicated to this symbolic act. Thank you for your participation. The collage was created by the Intersections team as part of the international conference “Nurturing active global citizens for a world on the move”.
